Nexthink Experience: The Future of DEX
When your event guest speaker is the great futurist Michio Kaku, you need a compelling opening video that primes that future looking mindset. We worked with the Nexthink team to understand the world of the event audience, both what today looks like and how it will evolve in fantastic ways tomorrow.
Task
Create an opening video for the future looking portion of the Nexthink Experience event that builds excitement for the potential of AI and automation.
The biggest challenge with an opening video like this is that it needed to be mainly abstract. In the beginning, the challenges of today loosely float in ways that pull your attention in many directions. To contrast this with the solutions of the future, we leveraged the brand’s use of layered outlined shapes to bring structure to the story. It also enabled us to easily show the layered complexity and scale of the modern business.
One of our favorite moments is when AI enters the story. The background color shifts to white, and the lines become curved and organic. The propelling feeling as we move from that scene to the climax of the story really hit the mark when it comes to the hopes for AI and automation.
