Dell Technologies World 2019

Global Partner Summit

From an opening video set to the sounds of Queen and Mark Martel, the singing voice of Freddie Mercury in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, to many presentations delivered by Dell Technologies executives and special guests, the CGI Interactive team pulled out all of the stops for this year’s Dell Technologies Global Partner Summit. With over 5000 partners in attendance, our team worked hand in hand with the crew at InVision to ensure the best event across the entire experience – from the general session, through three super sessions to the smaller breakout sessions.

What we created...

  • Theme creative
  • Video loop as audience arrived
  • Opening video
  • Main stage presentations
  • Speaker intro videos
  • President's Circle reveal video
  • Breakout sessions presentations

General Session

This year the general session took us on a journey to explore what it means to defy gravity and push ahead and away from the competition. The CGI Interactive team expanded on our event brand guide and created presentations for five presenters, along with five videos that were scattered throughout the two hours.

The show opener was a coordinated effort to create a backdrop of animations to sync to the live performance of Mark Martel who played piano and sang Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.” This rolled right into the stomping and clapping of “We Will Rock You” as we introduced Joyce Mullen to kick off the event.

CGI Interactive had a team of six onsite for the event to support the GPS group and to work out any last-minute changes to make this the best GPS yet.

Super Sessions & Breakouts

Beyond the general session we also created presentations for three super sessions that used a portion of the stage setup from the general session. For breakouts, we worked on eight presentations based on the template and guidelines that we created for the various teams.

It was a full team effort on both the CGI Interactive and client sides and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We’re looking forward to tackling 2020! Can you believe it? 2020 is right around the corner.
