Business Development Representative

As a Boston-based digital design agency with over 35 years of experience, our sales process has evolved, yet one thing remains constant: our clients’ trust. We’re seeking an ambitious Business Development Representative with strong outbound social marketing skills to help expand our client base. 

  • Experience

    1-3 years

This role blends B2B sales acumen with social media strategy expertise to drive engagement, attract prospects, and convert leads into long-term clients. You’ll collaborate with our sales, creative, and project management teams to generate new business.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and engage new business prospects through LinkedIn, email, and social channels to set up sales meetings. Develop outbound campaigns and research decision-makers within target companies.
  • Social Media & Content Marketing: Create and implement social media campaigns to generate leads, build brand visibility, and share engaging content that highlights our expertise and case studies.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Qualify leads, manage CRM records, and maintain structured follow-up and conversion processes.
  • Collaboration with Creative & Sales Team: Partner with sales to refine strategies based on data, and provide feedback to the creative team to enhance client services.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track engagement, outreach success, and pipeline growth, and adjust strategies as needed.
What we're looking for
  • A successful, results-driven self-starter with 1-3 years in business development, sales or related roles, ideally in creative services.
  • Proven experience in outbound social marketing, particularly on LinkedIn, Twitter, and other B2B platforms. Strong CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Analytical skills to interpret metrics and refine strategies.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with a “can-do” attitude.
Preferred qualifications
  • Familiarity with creative services, presentations, videos, or marketing.
  • Background in social media analytics, audience insights, or content marketing.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing efforts.
